Taccia was developed into a mass production model after a few years, leading to mass production in 1962.
A black anodized aluminium base accompanies Taccia. A deep glass bell rests at the base of this sculpture, on top of which is a white painted crushed enamelled aluminium disc.
The incandescent bulb is enclosed within a metal base, which improves heat diffusion. A version with a LED light source has also been available for some time. The Taccia bell rests loosely on the base and can be turned to direct the light distribution.
