Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella designed the Kushi LED Floor Lamp H 140cm for the brand Kundalini. Established just outside Milan in 1996, the company produces contemporary and innovative lighting. Kundalini became a pioneer in bringing artistic creations into people’s homes by using gifted designers and high quality materials. Their designs and innovations reflect the growing trends and tastes of international customers as the company expands. Several of the collections have won awards around the world.
Kushi LED Floor Lamp H 140cm is a dimmable free standing luminaire that is made up of three metallic rods arranged in a tripod-like arrangement. Each rod has a spherical diffuser made of two layers of hand blown opal glass. Using these spheres, a soft and glare-free light is generated in all directions, gently illuminating any room. Kushi in Japanese means ‘skewer’, and the metallic rods seem to skewer the glass spheres. Kushi LED Floor Lamp H 140cm has a height of 140cm and a depth of 56cm. The power cord has a dimmer control.
