Lights by Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella for Kundalini include ceiling, pendant, table and floor lamps. The collection also includes a portable battery table lamp.
Kushi is a piece of jewelry in the form of an apple that emits diffuse, warm white light. A two-layer, hand-blown glass diffuser imitates the shape of an apple. On its upper side, a metallic rod represents the stem. A minimalist and emotional apple with perfect symmetry. This is true design art: objects that are both simple and evocative at the same time, objects that appear minimalist, but can still be integrated well into a room.
Its subtle structure and the stem in the middle of the diffuser are made of metal and are glossy lacquered, available in brass, copper or black. Metal filigree rods pierce the spherical diffusers in the Kushi floor lamp version, which is equipped with LEDs that are permanently installed and emit a warm white light with a colour temperature of 2,700K. E27 lamps can be used with the large Kushi XL lights.
The white diffusers of two-layer opaline glass diffuse the light and provide an atmospheric room light. Kushi’s unusual design makes it almost predestined for modern and contemporary interiors, but it also represents a stylish break from more traditional spaces.
