Theia Floor Light Black MARSET

Marset named its Theia floor lamp after the Greek goddess which was believed to be both the mother of the Sun and the Moon. Therefore, the spherical shapes of Theia evoke the brightest elements in the sky. Designer Mathias Hahn said he focused on both light and shadows, because they are inseparable – besides creating a beautiful and versatile light, Theia also casts well thought out, soft shadows. Through the metal lampshade that can be swiveled around its axel, Theia’s appearance can be changed from bright, direct light to subtle, indirect light. The smoke-coloured plastic shade of this extraordinary luminaire adds a dreamy touch to its lights and shadows.
