There are rings everywhere. Brian Rasmussen's inside of the lamp draws all the surrounding rings to it. As if it were magnetic. To keep them as close as possible, they use a geometrical logic that optimizes the available space. You can make the lamp as big as you want; the geometric rings will still cover the entire surface. The diffuser rings are made from white PVC, white and gold PVC, and black and gold PVC, and are attached to the metal structure with small painted studs.
