Nemo Lighting releases the Parliament floor lamp for the first time to the general public.
It was designed by Le Corbusier in 1963.
This floor lamp was designed by Charles Le Corbusier for the European Parliament in Chandigarh, India. Parliament is inspired by the De Marseille wall lamp (1954). It is indeed equipped with two conical shades that can be adjusted to provide either direct or indirect lighting.
This lamp’s design was very modern for its time and was directly influenced by the industrial lighting of the 1950s. Gray and white colors make the Parliament blend seamlessly into modern and retro decor. With its direct lighting, you can light up at any time of day. It can also be placed next to a sofa or an armchair as a reading corner…
The Parliament floor lamp is 170-180 cm tall. Its foot measures 26 cm in diameter. Its shades are 16 cm and 12 cm in diameter, respectively. There is a dimmer switch on the cable (2.7m) to create the desired mood. The bulbs are not included, we recommend two E27 and A60 LED bulbs of 52W each.
Made in Italy.
