The first lamp designed by Ferruccio Laviani, a floor lamp and a sculpture: orbital’s five diffusers are transformed into a modular wall. In order to achieve a high graphic impact effect, each industrial silk-screened glass plate has an irregular shape, which can either be used individually or assembled in multiform compositions.
To enhance the profile of shapes that appear to be cut into the wall, the white version is effective when used tone by tone. On the other hand, the colour diffusers create a surreal design when the lamps are switched off, while when they are turned on, the light plays with the stained glass windows.
Detail comes from the treatment of the diffusers, satined on the outside to give pasture to the forms of colour and evidence, the luminous inside to reflect the light.
