Pio & Tito Toso created the Meteorite Wall/Ceiling Light from Artemide as a way to express lighting blown-glass into modern interior design. Molding, frosting, sandblasting, and acid-etching techniques are used to create the romantic appearance of Venetian "beaten" glass. Glass emits an ambient glow when lit, creating a delicate silhouette that reflects off the wall or ceiling. With a steel and Technopolymer base, the Meteorite can add a sense of outer space to the dining or living room.
