In 1990, Rodolfo Dordoni designed Lumiere, which quickly became one of the bestsellers in the Foscarini collection. It has a unique, harmonious mixture of mouth-blown glass diffuser, slim tripod stand and characteristic aluminum alloy.
A series of table lamps, a hanging lamp and a floor lamp comprising the Lumiere collection, always white in the inner layer in order to enhance the reflection of light – In 2005, the lamp with the proposed new chromatic tones of the diffuser was renovated and a new finish was applied to the tripod, showing the surprising actuality of one of the pieces of this “cult” collection.
