Architect Bernard Balas, born in 1935 in Toulouse, enjoys watching the sun set over the Garonne river.
Using the southern musical lilt, he likes to say: « It makes me feel good. »
He designed Here Comes the Sun in August 1970. At first glance, this original design is like all the other lamps that are called 'Originals'.
Its magic comes alive, though, once it's lit. The rawness of the dark transforms into something comforting.
