Inspired by nature and researched deeply, Gregg’s sculpture recalls a bowl smoothed by water, or the egg of a mythological animal, a symbol of creation and regeneration.
To facilitate reading, the volume is pure and familiar, yet surprising because of its asymmetrical shape, which changes Gregg’s image based on the viewer’s point of view.
Throughout, the white satin diffuser radiates a warm and uniform light with a strong decorative and functional value.
As a bonus, the shield of the bulb in each direction – due to the closed shape of the diffuser – also protects against glare. Made of polyethylene, a material that is light but resistant to impact and atmospheric agents.
