Joan Gaspar's Ginger 20 M table lamp is a study in wood, light, and design. Ginger's key feature is a wide, wooden lampshade with a white-coated interior providing a smooth, soft glow. The shade was created by pressing together layers of wood, paper, and resin into a beautifully arched laminate. An aluminium anti-glare shade conceals the efficient LED unit. The Ginger table lamp has a rechargeable lithium battery, which makes it portable and adaptable - the same lamp can easily be moved from a coffee table to a dining table or from a nightstand to a dressing table.
In 2021, Marset updated the design by adopting the USB-C standard for charging. An AC adapter is included with the previous, discontinued version that has a Mini USB charging port.
