Equatore is a contemporary interpretation of the classic lamp with a glass shade. The traditional abat-jour uses the shade as a container for the light source, while in this lamp family, the shade is paradoxically and suggestively empty, as the light is generated by two luminous discs placed inside a metal band on the shade, which evokes the equator's line. Using internal screens, the Leds produce light that is dispersed evenly across the surface of the discs, illuminating them magically. The bottom disc directs light downward, the upper one illuminates the glass cap with a soft, diffused light. In three sizes and two colors: a cool gray cap with a dark chrome frame, and a warm gray cap with a copper-colored frame.
