There is nothing more than a sphere, perched upon a cone that serves as the base, in an apparent act of balance. A compositional magic trick by Gio Ponti, designed in 1932. A perfectly proportioned object results from the counterbalancing of two elementary geometric forms. Composition with a geometrical simplicity and an extraordinary balance between its proportions and the non-reflective materials. A composition whose light is diffused and accentuated by the design's geometrical simplicity. Gio Ponti designed Bilia in a range of "spray colors". The handwritten notes from the original project have been transformed into breathtaking chromatic variations of Bilia Mini by FontanaArte.
