Taking its name and shape from a water lily, Nenufar is the result of the designer’s intense quest to create a fixture that floats in the air. The Nenufar is a cluster of LED pendants made up of several discs attached to a central stem. Each disc is distinct, separated from the others in a way that the downward beams do not intersect or interfere, but combine for one uniform, direct beam. As a result, an item is created that is halfway between decorative and architectural, and can be used for both purposes. The Nenufar is a sober and well-finished LED lamp that radiates an exquisite light and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As a series, this fixture can create areas lit at various heights and with a variety of disc combinations – or on its own as a surprising, well-balanced and subdued centerpiece. Discs can be white, black, or a combination of the three, with a polished chrome stem supporting them. Pre-set configurations of 3, 5, 7, and 9 units are available, making installation easier.
