Description
APLOMB is a cement suspension lamp designed by Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere for Foscarini. It can be used to decorate and illuminate small tables or counters, as it will create depth to volumes, whether they are presented alone or in a composition.
In Foscarini, cement is used with a spirit and technology that are absolutely unique. By showcasing the raw texture of cement, the lamp counterbalances the massive solidity of cement with a light, extremely elegant design with pure forms.
In order to enhance the cement without altering it, pigments are added directly into the cement mixture to add color.
LED technology is used in this version of the Aplomb suspension. In addition to the long life of the light source, its efficiency is an added benefit in terms of energy saving and ecological sustainability.
