An icon of French industrial design, the Signal lamp is 100% made in France. The Signal lamp, a replica of the Standard lamp, was designed by the Lyon-born inventor Jean-Louis Domecq in 1950 to be robust and functional, features that previously were lacking in workshop lamps. It will enter our interiors only in the 1990s, after being quickly adopted by architects and industrialists.
